Tart To Heart: My Secret Shame (Columns, March 2006)
The film you are looking for is called What Waits Below aka Secrets of the Phantom Caverns (1984). Here's a link for you: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088392/
I don't recall exactly when I first saw it but it was back when you could buy those black boxes to unscramble the movie channels. I think Knight Rider was still on at that point so I was in high school. Anyway, this was the first unscrambled movie I saw. I hardly remember it except images of albinos running around. That and there was enough cheese to rival a Wisconsin dairy. You're actually the first one I've heard of who also saw it. Take care.

Aha! Yes, that's it! Now I remember the bit about the radio transmitters. Now, to track it down at the video store and see if it's really that truly awful. :)
Thanks!

Tart To Heart: My Secret Shame (Columns, March 2006)
I think the movie that Rebecca was referring to is Slave Of The Cannibal God (1979) with Ursula Andress and Stacy Keach.
Having seen the film late one night, I can vouch for the presence of albino natives.
Happy viewing! :)

Wow, the title alone makes it sound positively awful! That might be the film I saw. Maybe I can find it at the local video store. Thanks for the tip! :)
