Set after the events of the original Frozen, Queen Elsa starts to hear a voice calling her. When the people of Ariendelle are forced to evacuate because of strange things happening, Elsa tells Anna what is happening and together with Olaf and Sven, our four protagonists travel northwards, learning what really happened with their parents and more.

The preceding paragraph makes it sound pretty good, but this sequel is everything but. I'm not sure what plot they had in mind, but there were quite a few plot threads that never made any sense, even though everything worked out in the end. Who or what was the voice calling Elsa? How or why was the dam built? Why is Olaf suddenly worried about become older? Olaf's concern about aging and being mature didn't make a lot of sense, but it made the most sense out of everything. Olaf also had the lone scene that actually affected me; when the funny sidekick is the only meaningful part of the movie, that doesn't speak well of the rest of the movie.

Points only for Olaf and the beautiful horse made of ice.
